One Motor Design, Kept Simple
Every WEG DC motor here uses permanent magnet construction, which means fewer moving parts and generally easier maintenance than a wound field design. If you're replacing an older DC motor and aren't sure which type you have, a permanent magnet is the more common design in smaller equipment.
Built to Handle Dust and Debris
These motors use a TENV enclosure, meaning they're totally enclosed with no external ventilation. That sealed design keeps dust, debris, and moisture out, which matters on equipment that sits in a shop or plant environment rather than a clean control room.
Voltage Options from 12V to 180V
This lineup covers low voltage options like 12VDC and 24VDC, often used in mobile or battery powered equipment, up through 90VDC and 180VDC motors built for standard industrial DC drives. Confirming your power source's voltage before ordering saves a return trip.
Compact Frame Sizes
WEG's DC motors here run in 56C, and 145TC frames, keeping the footprint small for equipment where space is tight. If you need a larger frame or a wound field design instead, our full DC Electric Motors collection covers those alternatives from other brands.
Repair or Cross-Reference Help
If a carbon brush or bearing has worn out rather than the motor itself, those are available separately. Our electric motor repair shop can also help confirm whether an older WEG DC motor is worth rebuilding.
